Personal Protection or Self Defence - what's the difference?

Most self-defence training focuses on what happens after an incident begins.

Personal protection focuses on everything that happens before it ever gets that far.

At P3, we believe the best outcome is not winning a confrontation. It's avoiding one altogether.

Personal protection is the ability to recognise potential threats early, assess risk, make informed decisions, and take action before a situation escalates. It is about awareness, judgement, preparation, and behaviour.

When people look back on a dangerous situation, there are often warning signs that were present long before the point of contact. The problem is not that people ignored them. The problem is that most people have never been taught what to look for.

That's where P3 comes in.

Using our Predict • Prevent • Protect methodology, we teach practical awareness skills that help people better understand their environment, recognise behavioural indicators, identify potential risks, and make safer decisions in everyday life.

Our goal is to help people develop a new level of awareness that becomes second nature. Not something they switch on occasionally, but a skill they use automatically when travelling, socialising, working, studying, or navigating the world.

What can you offer that I cannot get in other self defence courses?

P3 defence is a revolutionary approach to online scenario-based immersion training - the learner experiences multiple incidents reading options and making decisions under timed pressure in a controlled environment.

Do I need previous experience ?

There’s no need to have any prior knowledge for courses. We'll teach you from the ground up you’ll gain all the knowledge and skills you need to become more aware of threat and risk in everyday life.

How can I choose my courses?

We offer a number of different learning paths, which you are invited to read and choose the one that better meets your needs. However if you need any advice or clarifications, please contact us and we can guide you.

When can I start studying ?

You can enrol straight away. Be online and start studying within a matter of seconds after logging in.

Do you offer physical courses.

Yes we can be booked for schools, groups, corporate, and many other versions of our training. Please enquire on the booking form and we can create a training experience for your team or group.

Is there a franchise or affiliate program?
